An article in The Hindu newspaper's Metro Plus Hyderabad Edition regarding my first exhibit in 2005 titled "Bonfire of my Vanities". Given its reference to the book by Tom Wolfe about a New York "yuppie" bond trader - I thought it somewhat ironic to have the legendary Leftist filmmaker B Narsing Rao to be the Chief Guest.
It was more photography combined with work done in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop - and with reference to this departure from straight photographs - the writer of this article retitled the exhibit to be a "Bonfire of Convention". www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-features/tp-metroplus/bonfire-of-convention/article28172476.ece |
