My father's dad, CVH Rao passed away at age 59 - at that time my family had already immigrated to The States and were living in Boston when news of his death arrived. He was an orthodox Andhra Brahmin and followed all the "Golden Rules" with respect to religion, diet and lifestyle.
I found this title after a search on the internet I think in 2004 - a book or books that no one in his surviving family (including my own dad) was/were aware of. The reasons and story? Modesty? From what I was told by my grandmother with whom I was very close to until her death in the 90s - that was probably the case. Name, fame, fortune meant nothing to him - only the propagation of the teachings and values of Mahatma Gandhi....
I think some time ago I was searching for anything on the net regarding him - I was quite awed to discover a connection between his writing and its impressions on the thoughts of the first president of the African nation state Ghana - Kwame Nkrumah.
